– Improved reliability of video out using iPad Dock Connector to VGA
– Bing added as a search option

iOS 4.0.1 for the iPhone includes:

– Unspecified bug fixes
– Improved formula for displaying wireless signal strength

It looks like the proximity sensor problem during voice calls was fixed. My iPhone 4 display reappears after moving the phone away from my head. However, there seems to be a related problem. My iPhone screen went dark after ending a FaceTime video call and stayed dark unti I pressed the display on/off button. This did not happen prior to the 4.0.1 update.

The updates had a variety of file sizes. Here’s what I saw:

– iOS 4.0.1 for iPhone 4: 579.3 MB
– iOS 4.0.1 for iPhone 3G: 305.5 MB
– iOS 3.2.1 for WiFi-only iPad: 456.9 MB
