In Advertising, Layoffs Abound

At least today, anyway.

Our sister blog AgencySpy has dug up the news that Southfield, Mich.-based Doner is making an unspecified number of cuts, which will fall across all departments. Doner currently employs 900 people and counts Coca-Cola, Lexmark, and Amazon.com among its clients.

Meanwhile, digital ad agency MRM Worldwide has laid off about 25 in its New York office since last month, in all departments, clickZ reports.

MRM New York has handled work for Nikon and MasterCard, among other clients.
