HP Discontinues TouchPad & webOS Phone Devices

In a bombshell announcement today, HP revealed that they will discontinue webOS devices, ending the company’s TouchPad and webOS phone offerings.

Rumors had surfaced earlier this week that TouchPad sales had dipped much lower than expected. In addition, the company revealed that HP estimates full-year revenue would range between $127.2 billion and  $127.6 billion, below the company’s original expectations for revenues between $129 billion and $130 billion.
