Global eReader Sales Expected To Grow To $8.2 Billion By 2014

Global eReader sales revenue is expected to grow from about $1.9 billion in 2010 to $8.2 billion in 2014, according to a new report from the Yankee Group. Yankee also predicts that unit sales will rise from just under 11 million in 2010 to nearly 72 million in 2014.

The report predicts that the average price tag for eReaders will fall. In 2014, Yankee expects the average retail price to be $114, down from the 2010 average of $182.
