Garance Franke-Ruta Joins Yahoo News
Yahoo! has hired Garance Franke-Ruta as Washington editor for Yahoo News. Franke-Ruta comes to Yahoo News from The Atlantic, where she served as a senior editor with a focus on national politics.
“Garance has the creativity, passion and experience that Yahoo News needs to break news and create conversation with our political coverage,” said Megan Liberman, editor-in-chief of Yahoo News, in a statement. “She also happens to be one of the smartest and most social media savvy political journalists in the business.
