Ex-Reporter Returns to Senate Roots

Vince Morris, spokesman for former House Rules Committee Chairwoman Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.) and a source and friend to many reporters around Washington, has taken a job as Communications Director for Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D-WVa.). The move means he’s returning to his old stomping grounds. In his “glory years,” as he calls them, he made a name for himself by working as a Senate reporter for six years for NYP.
