I am very pleased to announce that Edward Epstein, a veteran of the San Francisco Chronicle’s Washington Bureau, will join Congressional Quarterly as a reporter covering congressional leadership as part of the Inside Congress team.

Ed brings to his new position 23 years of experience as a reporter and editor for the Chronicle. He has had more than 4,800 bylines since 1985 and has earned a well-deserved reputation as a sharp and swift writer and a considerate team player.
