em-dash is the new comma

I was talking about the fabulous Margaret Lyons earlier today, and her fine (and at times infuriating) copyediting skills. Her fotolog entitled em-dash is the new comma * (Did I tell you she takes her proofreading seriously? She does), features this fine example of the Helvetica font, as well as a link to this article, How to Spot Arial. She’s obviously put the knowlege gained from reading the article to good use.
