Q: How has re-entry been at the paper?
A: (Hollow laughter) I am actively seeking a new beat. I’ve spent the last couple of months talking to Iraqi veterans who have come home. . . . But I have to say, I don’t think my editors at the paper have been as supportive of me coming home as I would like them to be.
