Kickstarter, the all-or-nothing funding platform where anyone can propose a project, is being used in more and more creative ways.
Usually on Kickstarter, a person will propose making, say, a documentary. Backers can promise to pledge a portion of the film’s budget in exchange for different rewards: so $10 would get your name in the credits, $25 would get you a copy of the DVD, and so forth.
But designer Joseph Wain is using Kickstarter in a different way.
