George LeVines has been hired as the digital editor of Defense One, announced executive editor Kevin Baron. LeVines will be responsible for production of the org’s Website, DefenseOne.com, including supervising graphics and data visualization for the site. LeVines will also be in charge of Defense One’s social media strategy.
Prior to joining Defense One, LeVines worked as a freelance reporter, contributing to The Boston Globe, among other outlets.
His appointment comes as the site continues to expand its digital efforts.
