Defense News' John Bennett Joins CQ Roll Call
Bennett will serve as the "CQ budget tracker."
John Bennett, most recently a senior congressional reporter for Defense News, will join CQ effective immediately, according to a staff memo from Steve Komarow, vp and news director for CQ Roll Call.
Bennett will succeed Jonathan Miller as CQ budget tracker, reporting to Jane Norman as part of their team that covers appropriations and the budget. While working at Defense News, Bennett launched and oversaw the CongressWatch web channel covering budget issues such as the “fiscal cliff” debate.
