Tonight, Disney kicks off (to quote the release) “a special Ocean Awareness PSA Campaign geared towards kids with NOAA and other environmental groups with a party and screening of their classic ‘The Little Mermaid’ at the Ronald Reagan Trade Building. Little Mermaid star (voice of Ariel) Jodi Benson will be attending, as will fellow ‘fish heads’ Jean Michel Cousteau (who lives in Alexandria), famed marine biologist Dr. Sylvia Earle and…George Stephanopoulos (who is always up for supporting ‘the other white meat’).”
