CNN Benefits in Wake of Cancelled GOP Debate

All five remaining presidential candidates will appear in a Monday special.

Take the three remaining GOP presidential candidates who were originally supposed to be spending Monday night debating on Fox News’ airwaves, add in the two remaining Democratic presidential candidates, and CNN has itself quite the Monday-night-before-Super-Tuesday-Number-Four coup.

CNN announced it will be filling its 8 p.m to 11 p.m. ET space with three hours of individual, in-studio interviews with Hillary Clinton, Ted Cruz, John Kasich and Donald Trump, while Bernie Sanders will be interviewed from somewhere in space and time on the campaign trail.
