CNBC.com Has Record June

The financial world might be struggling, but not the site that covers it. CNBC.com had its best June ever with 5.6 million unique visitors, according to stats by comScore Media Metrix.

Talking Biz News reports that CNBC.com also turned the 5.6 million viewers into over 278 million page views, and each viewer clicked on an average of 50 different pages. That’s not too shabby.

CNBC’s mobile site also had a record month, with a 41 percent increase in page views over the same time last year.

A fantastic month for CNBC, but what does this indicate about the economy? As CNBC puts it, could we be headed towards a double dip recession or is a V-shaped recovery in our future? Will unemployment turn around? Am I reading too much into these numbers?
