Check Out Some Ill Threadz with Wash Timez

The Washington Times is hosting a Fashion Week Networking Party at its Arbor Ballroom tonight from 7 – 10 p.m. The program will feature a fashion show with 50 models and four acts, including an all-female band and dancing.

In a press release for the event, Maria Cuomo Cole, daughter of former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo and wife of designer Kenneth Cole, said:

The ultimate tastemakers are in the White House, and that unlike in the recent past, her fellow New Yorkers no longer poke fun at their less chic Washington friends.

Okay, so riddle me this: All we needed was one month of a new Administration to be considered fashionable? Or is it the new Ed Hardy store that’s popping up in Georgetown?
