Although the Legal Times has lost some folks recently, they’ve also picked up some new staffers:

  • Joe Palazzolo on the federal courts (most recently at the Baltimore Examiner)

  • Doug McCollam, as senior editor (a familiar figure from his days as a D.C.-based reporter for The American Lawyer and more recently as a contract editor)

  • Carrie Levine, as a lobbying reporter (most recently of The Charlotte Observer)

  • Jeff Horwitz, as a lobbying reporter (most recently of the San Bernardino County Sun and before that at City Paper)

  • Marisa McQuilken, as editorial assistant (a recent graduate of the
    University of Washington and a Legal Times summer intern last year)
