Chandrasekaran Named Post's National Editor

We are thrilled to announce that Rajiv Chandrasekaran will be the new National editor, capping a whirlwind three weeks in which he’s gotten married, gone on his Asian honeymoon and won Britain’s prestigious Samuel Johnson Prize for his terrific book, “Imperial Life in the Emerald City.”

As assistant managing editor for continuous news, Rajiv played a key role in developing the newsroom’s web strategy before we lured him away earlier this year to help lead National’s enterprise coverage of Washington at War.
