Carol Hymowitz Out at Forbes Woman
Carol Hymowitz is no longer the editor of Forbes Woman, FishbowlNY has learned.
A tipster tells us that Hymowitz was “ousted a couple of weeks ago.” A spokesperson for Forbes confirmed that Hymowitz has left the company, but declined to elaborate, saying Forbes doesn’t comment on personnel matters. Two stories with Hymowitz’s byline, dated August 3, appear to be her most recent contributions to Forbes.com.
Hymowitz was a founding editor at Forbes Woman and ForbesWoman.com. Before joining Forbes Media in 2008, Hymowitz worked for The Wall Street Journal as a senior editor and columnist.
