Bluepulse Adds More Social Features, Hires CTO
Mobile social networking start-up Bluepulse unveiled a host of new features and functionality at CTIA, including easy friend importing from Web mail, daily summary notifications and new emoticons.
Bluepulse members can now import their contact lists from Gmail, Yahoo Mail, AOL and Hotmail and connect with them via Bluepulse. The summary notifications, delivered either by e-mail or SMS, let users know what their friends have been up to on Bluepulse since they last logged in.
The company also hired Christopher Nguyen, most recently the engineering director for Google Apps, as CTO and VP of engineering.
