Austin Powers Actor Gets Life in Jail
Joseph Hyungmin Son, who played Random Task in the first Austin Powers movie, was just sentenced to life in prison without parole for his involvement in the 1990 rape and torture of an Orange County woman, reports the LA Times. Son was convicted of felony torture, but avoided rape charges because of an expired statute of limitations on the crime.
Son’s crime took place a whole seven years before he was cast in the Austin Powers film.
