Both sports fanatics and the District’s 12-and-under set are gearing up for a star-studded weekend in Washington. Keep your eyes peeled for pro athletes like LeBron James, Abby Wambach, Damien Woody, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and Dwayne Wade this week.  They’ll be rolling into town Friday to join the cast members and characters of “iCarly,” “Victorious,” “True Jackson,VP,” “Big Time Rush,” “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Dora the Explorer,” “Supah Ninjas,” and “Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures” for  Nickelodeon’s 2011 Worldwide Day of Play (WWDOP).

Held annually to encourage active and healthy lifestyles in children, WWDOP is more than just fun and games for Nickelodeon.
