ASUSTeK Computer, Inc. is better known in the U.S. as simply Asus, the netbook pioneer. And, this time, DigiTimes’ article is based on information from Asus’ investor conference. Asus shipped 1.6 and 1.5 million netbooks in the first and second quarters of this year. The third quarter of the year is generally a peak season (probably due to back-to-school buying).
