Another Warhol Book?

If you thought you were safe from tribute books about Andy Warhol, well, you were wrong.

Slated for release in February 2007, the newest book from famed photographer Christopher Makos, Warhol | Makos In Context, documents the years he (too) spent at Andy Warhol’s side.

According to Makos’ Web site, it was Warhol who called him “the most modern photographer in America.” A seminal figure in the 1980s New York art scene and current city resident, Makos’ In Context includes material from the years when Makos saw Warhol almost daily — including shots of their mutual friends, the trips the two and others made together, and the inevitable scenes of work life at Warhol’s 860 Broadway Factory and Makos’ West 15th Street studio.

Yeah, yeah.
