André Leon Talley Gets New Title At Vogue

Vogue‘s Andre Leon Talley has a new title to his name, although he will retain the same responsibilities at the magazine.

Formerly the “editor at large,” he will now be listed as a “contributing editor as of Vogue‘s April issue.” While some speculated that editor in chief Anna Wintour’s right hand man — who has been a staple at Vogue for over 25 years — had been demoted after choosing to focus on America’s Next Top Model, a spokesperson at Vogue said the title change was a mere a technicality: “There’s no more to the story than a title change. That’s just because he wanted to do more freelance projects.”
