Speaking of Al Gore, as we were this very morning, a friend to the UnBeige passed us along this interesting bit of reading about the former Vice President agreeing to appear as the keynote speaker at the upcoming 2007 Acrobat and PDF show in Orlando and his commitment to the earth-saving PDF:

He didn’t invent PDF…but Gore did promote environmental causes tirelessly, and continues to with his books. Once he became second in command of the U.S. government, he pushed for the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, which paved the way for the adoption of electronic document standards and the ascension of PDF.
