Amazon is Expanding into India
The Indian tech blog Plugged.in has put 2 and 2 together and come up with startling conclusion. It looks like Amazon is about to enter the retail market in India.
Amazon hasn’t made any official statements on this, but there are a number of signs that it’s happening. First, Amazon has stepped up recruitment efforts for all positions, and yes, that tweet is from Amazon’s recruiter for India. There’s also a job listing for a fulfillment manager in India, and Amazon has recently hired a new manager to run its books operations in India.
