Alec Russell is the Financial Times' Comment and Analysis Editor

Add another editorial shift to the already substantial personnel moves over at the Financial Times. The paper announced today that it has moved world news editor Alec Russell to the position of comment and analysis editor. He replaces Caroline Daniel, who as we learned earlier will assume the role of Weekend FT editor.

Russell is now charged with editing the FT‘s features pages, which include the op-ed page and Business Life. He has previously served the FT as Johannesburg bureau chief.
