ADC Redeems Itself With Lighthearted Annual

Despite the extended outcries over their controversial Call For Entries poster, the ADC has surprisingly decided against renaming itself the Antichrist Directors Club. To celebrate, some happier news from our friends on 29th Street:

Our 85th Award Annual has just been released. Consider that when the club’s first one came out, Paul Rand was six years old and Bill Bernbach was nine. How’s that for longevity, in an industry not known for it?

The longest-running archive of global advertising and design work was designed by perennial annual design favorites Giampietro + Smith. After a quick examination, the annual doesn’t seem offensive to us, but we’re sure there will be some complaints–those lines will certainly be accused of inducing vertigo in at least one disgruntled design blogger.
