AdAge Takes on Maxim’s Tough Guy Gimmicks

A bit of nonsense fun from AdAge this morning. After receiving word that the new issue of Maxim Magazine included an ad for wrestler-turned-actor Steve Austin‘s new movie which, on the the reverse side claimed that the page it was printed on was completely un-tearable by mortal man (fitting as this was Maxim’s “The Tough Issue”), Ad Age editors Jonah Bloom and Ken Wheaton stepped up to the plate and attempted to tear the ad apart. It’s stupid, funny and clever. Unfortunately, you can’t embed their video, so you’re going to have to go over there yourself to check it out.
