60 Percent Of Managers Say They ‘Deserve’ To See Your Facebook

HRTechNews reports that 60 percent of managers say they have a right to see their employees’ Facebook pages and other social networking sites, according to a recent Deloitte survey, while more than half (53 percent) of workers surveyed say their managers shouldn’t be able to see what they post.

Maybe that’s because, in the same survey, a third of employees polled said they never consider how their employer might be affected when posting material on social networking sites. Guilt much? Almost half (49 percent) said that even if their employer were to institute a social networking policy, it wouldn’t change their behavior.
