British telco Virgin Media has taken a more emotional direction in its advertising as of late, a trick that has not always been easy for utility brands to pull off.

Its new ad, created by Adam & Eve/DDB, is about the power of music to bring people together. While that’s not a new sentiment, the brand examines it from a fresh angle by delving into the U.K.’s jungle scene.

The TV spot tells the story of a budding singer-songwriter, played by British visual artist and musician Lava La Rue, as they stumble across a jungle track from the 1990s that was recorded and dedicated to them by their father.

This unexpected discovery inspires the artist to remix their own version of the track, naming it For You, and playing it for their father on stage.
