After soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo broke a record to become the top international men’s goal scorer of all time, Nike decided to honor him by motivating the next generation of athletes in his hometown.

Ronaldo scored his 110th and 11th goals for Portugal on Wednesday in a game against the Republic of Ireland. To celebrate, Nike renovated a soccer pitch in Funchal, the capital of the Portuguese island of Madeira, where Ronaldo is from.

The pitch is set up at Ronaldo’s own childhood court at the Quinta Falcão community center and includes career-retrospective goalposts to represent the elite athlete’s commitment to setting personal goals.
