Seeking Perfection in an Imperfect World, Oreo Thins Adds More Filling

The less indulgent cookie just got more indulgent

Much like Goldilocks, some shoppers, it seems, think an Oreo is too much yet an Oreo Thin isn’t enough. To satisfy these consumers, the brand is rolling out Oreo Thins Extra Stuf, a line of cookies with nearly double the amount of creme filling as the more adult-friendly variety.

In other words, the less indulgent option just got more indulgent while still remaining less indulgent than the main option.

(A single Oreo contains 53 calories, while an Oreo Thin contains 35 calories and an Oreo Thin Extra Stuf contains 43 calories.)

Oreo Thins Extra Stuf will be part of the brand’s permanent portfolio and available on store shelves nationwide starting January 2022.
