Nordstrom Names New CMO to Champion 'Heritage of Service'

Company veteran Deniz Anders will replace Scott Meden

Nordstrom is making changes just in time for the fall shopping season.

Today, the upscale department store chain announced 22-year company veteran Deniz Anders has been promoted from vp of marketing to chief marketing officer.

In her new position, Anders will lead all of the Seattle-based company’s marketing efforts, including brand programs, digital marketing, creative strategy and corporate affairs.  

“Deniz is a proven leader with the ability to drive integrated marketing strategies and plans to grow the business and connect with customers in meaningful ways across all channels and touch points,” Ken Worzel, Nordstrom’s chief customer officer, said in a statement.
