Ecommerce Platform Wish Rolls Out Shoppable Video Feature

Parent ContextLogic is just the latest company to get in on the trend

Shopping platform Wish is the latest ecommerce company to throw its hat in the shoppable video ring.

The platform’s parent company, ContextLogic, unveiled a new feature this week called Wish Clips, which allow merchants to create short videos that demonstrate their wares for users and link to their stores, carts or an option to purchase right away. The feature is already available to Android users across nine markets and will expand to iOS in April.

Retailers have been increasingly turning to short shoppable videos like these as a way to make the product discovery process more interactive.
