In a Historic Moment, Amazon Workers Vote to Unionize

Results at another warehouse are still pending

It’s a historic day for Amazon employees at a warehouse in Staten Island, N.Y., who have voted to unionize for the first time ever in the U.S.

That’s according to the grassroots organization, Amazon Labor Union (ALU), which, as of 11 am ET on April 1 reported 2,050 votes for yes and 1,574 for no.
