After an 18-month pilot, Amazon’s healthcare service, Amazon Care, is expanding beyond its own employees in the state of Washington.

For the first time, Amazon is offering services to employees of other companies based in Washington—with virtual care to follow this summer for Amazon employees across the U.S.

In-person services from Amazon Care will extend to cities like Baltimore and Washington, D.C., along with “other cities in the coming months,” according to a blog post.

An Amazon spokesperson did not comment on how many employees use Amazon Care, or whether Amazon Care has any patients outside of Amazon yet.
