CHICAGO Ken Zasky has been promoted to president of Publicis Groupe’s StarLink unit here, according to the agency. The promotion is effective immediately.

Zasky, 39, has been the unit’s chief operating officer for the past five years. He replaces Scott Neslund, who has left the shop.

Zasky helped found the agency in 2000, positioning it as a place for creatively driven agencies and small to midsize clients to utilize resources of parent organization Starcom MediaVest Group, without getting lost in one of its bigger media siblings.
