NEW YORK Yahoo said today that it is expanding Launch, its 18-month-old U.S. music property, into Europe. The overseas entry will provide artists and labels with a marketing platform to promote concert tours and new releases to the Web portal’s 30 million European users.
Rolling out in the U.K., Ireland, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, the music destination will let fans access music and music-related content from new and established artists, as well as popular performers in each local market.
