The Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company has suspended R&B star Chris Brown from use as its spokesman and star of the ad campaign for Doublemint gum.

Brown sang about the “Double your pleasure, double your fun” brand by reworking it into his hit song “Forever” last summer, which doubled as a Doublemint jingle. Brown also sang and danced in the ad. While the gum brand hasn’t officially fired Brown, the star and his campaign are being suspended “until the matter is resolved,” per the company.
