Arm of Promo Outfit Not Part of Sale; Name Change May Come
CHICAGO–Waylon Ad, the five-year old advertising arm of the Waylon Co., was not part of Waylon’s sale to Momentum and continues under the ownership of Jim SanFilippo.
Momentum, a St. Louis-based promotions unit of the Interpublic Group of Companies, last week said it has acquired the Waylon Co. in St. Louis, as well as a smaller California shop, ImageWerks.
The Waylon Co. is a 20-year old promotions shop founded and run by SanFilippo, which will now be folded into Momentum (formerly Louis London).
