NEW YORK – UPS has signed on as the National Football League’s official express carrier service in a three-year deal worth $1.5-2 million. UPS replaces rival overnight delivery service DHL Corp., which had held the sponsorship for the past two years. UPS is set to make the deal public within the next few weeks. Under the contract, UPS gets the rights to use NFL logos and trademarks and will employ them to execute national promotions aimed at the corporate decision makers who select their company’s delivery services.
