Twofifteenmccann’s Parsons Joins The Factory

Assumes chief operations officer role

Mike Parsons, the managing director of twofifteenmccann, has left the agency to become chief operations officer at The Factory, an incubator start-up in San Francisco.

A search is underway to find a replacement for him at the McCann Worldgroup shop, sources said.

Parsons joined twofifteenmccann three years ago. He previously was managing director of Tribal DDB in London (from January 2008 until March 2010) and managing partner at Tribal DDB in Amsterdam (January 2006 to December 2007).

Parsons' exit follows other top management departures at twofifteenmccann. Mike Harris, chief strategy officer, left last August to become president of DDB West, a new role at that agency. John Patroulis, co-founder and executive creative director, exited in May 2011 to become chief creative officer of Bartle Bogle Hegarty in New York. Chief creative officer Scott Duchon, however, remains at the agency.

Twofifteenmccann is best known for its Microsoft Xbox work, including a campaign for Halo 4 that won top honors at the Game Marketing Awards in April. The agency also has handled projects for Nescafé, Coca-Cola's Fuze Tea and HP and developed the current year-long social media campaign for Olivari Olive Oil.
