Seeking to attract customers with shiny new aircraft, Trans World Airlines next month launches a campaign via agency D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles touting the largest plane purchase in TWA’s history.
A TV spot with such a focus could make a regional appearance during the Jan. 31 Super Bowl telecast, said Lisbeth L. Mack, TWA’s vice president of marketing and services. The company was able to secure a late-opening slot for a spot buy before last year’s game.
