ATLANTA–Turkel Schwartz & Partners added another client to its interactive division last week with the acquisition of Visual Data Corp. of Pompano Beach, Fla.
Annual billings were estimated at $3 million.
According to Visual Data vice president Bill Plough, the Miami agency defeated two other local competitors, Beber Silverstein & Partners and Pinkhaus.
Three New York agencies–Edelman, GCI and Peppercom–were also involved in discussions with Visual Data.
“We eliminated [those shops] because of their size,” Plough said.
