BOSTON Independent agency Transcendigital said it has added to its destination marketing cache, picking up interactive assignments from Colony Beach and Tennis Resort and Travel Sciences.

Both Colony Beach and Tennis in Sarasota, Fla., and Travel Sciences in Hartford, Conn., look to the shop for Web site redesigns and general interactive marketing services. The budgets were not disclosed but are likely in the combined six figures.

The shop’s work for Travel Sciences will support its Travel Office enterprise software, which is geared toward both traditional retail and online markets. Travel Sciences is also launching a cruise, tour and vacation packaging and supplier product called Longitude.

“Both of these clients represent exciting opportunities for our technical team to leverage our commitment to and experience in this industry,” said Transcendigital president James Barker. “Along with our diverse existing tourism and destination accounts, these two demonstrate how digital marketing resources are relevant to very different companies within the sector.”

The Avon, Conn.-based agency’s roster also includes Red Jacket Resorts and Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo, both New England destinations. Other clients include The Hartford and Community Coffee Co.
