Togo’s Eateries in Cupertino, Calif., has kept its $1-2 million broadcast assignment close to home, tapping VitroRobertson in San Diego following a review that included a trio of local finalists.
Heater Advertising and Partners & Simons, both Boston, and Haggman, Manchester, Mass., were defeated in the final round, sources said. Other shops may also have pitched.
Haggman had previously done design work for the client, a 260-unit sandwich chain owned by Dunkin’ Donuts parent Allied Domecq.
VitroRobertson’s brand-building efforts for Taylor Guitars and Odyssey putters won the day, according to a statement issued by Margaret Coughlin, the former Pamet River Partners executive who ran the review from her home in Concord, Mass.
