Think Scores in Wireless, Architecture

BOSTON Think Collaborative, a startup that launched earlier this year, has added marketing chores for Pinnacle Towers and Michael Kim Architecture.

The agency is undertaking market research, corporate literature and interactive duties for both Michael Kim and Pinnacle Towers, a provider of wireless communications facilities. The budgets were not disclosed.

Based in Cambridge, Mass., Think is led by partners Ian Dowe, who oversee marketing operations; Allison Reilly, who heads up account services; and Cynthia Jennings, the operation’s creative director. Other clients of the six-person shop include Friend Lumber & Building Centers, BD Healthcare & Consulting and Mia Bambina Children’s Apparel.

The small shop believes it can prosper despite the tough climate and sea of startups, because, “We are not an agency that is trying to retro-fit a business model that was established years ago to take advantage of a boom economy,” said Dowe. “We were founded after the boom specifically to offer companies an alternative … Even scaled down, most agencies can’t afford to offer up their most senior talent. We can and do.”
