Paul McDougal has been promoted to president of independent marketing and communications firm Thielen Partners in Fresno, Calif. An agency employee since 1983, McDougal’s most recent position was senior vice president, account services. In his new role, he will work with chief executive officer Mike Thielen to oversee the agency’s ongoing development in the realm of strategic- and consulting-based marketing. McDougal will also work closely with the firm’s recently added research and analysis, planning and event-coordination services divisions.
